Hi,

I have posted few questions below, please take the time to answer, you can skip any question you want. None of these questions are meant to offend anyone, it's part of my project I am doing about 24/hr society.

*your prompt reply would be greatly appreciated.




How many days do you do night shift?
5 nights

Do they pay you extra/more ?
Yes,on an average a night shift worker  takes home 30% more in wages then a day Staff

Has night shift become a habit?
Yes,it can be some time.i guess i am used to it. But for other it can be a convenient way of having a family and or social life.

Does it hinder you during the day, for not getting proper sleep at night?
Not at all.but I know some of my colleague find  it hard to work night shift especially a new starter. 

Do you enjoy? Or do you work because you have to? 
I work night shift because its pays me a good salary.

Do you want 9-5 pm job?
Not at the moment.

Do you get quality sleep when you come back home from work? 
Yes I do.i sleep 7 hours a day.

The one or two or how many ever night you get to sleep at night, does it feel refreshing? 
 2 nights a week i get to sleep at night.during those two nights my body clock tend to adjust in a natural way.

How is your mood during night shift? 
Good.

Are you single, if so would this change when you have a family? 
Yes I am.perhaps it might change if i have a family.its depend on the situation really.

Do you think they should ban night shifts? If so why? If not why?
They should n't band night shifts.cause it can create negative effect on the economy as a whole.

2 things that you have learned out of nightshirt duties, are?
Because I am a duty manager in a retail industry,the two main duties i have learned over the years are: 
  1.a great customer service
   2.leadership skills
